In April, Tokyo-based AI healthcare startup Ubie implemented AI-driven employee performance evaluations, analyzing the work logs from internal chats and product development of 220 staff members. The AI generates evaluation proposals, which employees can supplement, and the final assessment, including compensation adjustments, is reviewed by CEO Yoshiharu Abe. This system aims to reduce managerial workload and enhance operational focus.
